Compliance

In daily business, observing statutory and corporate rules – this is what compliance in essence means – should be a matter of course. Unfortunately, reality often enough looks different. Employers ignore, tolerate, and sometimes even demand non-compliant behaviour. Companies suffer damages in the billions annually caused by professional misconduct of their directors and employees. On top of that comes the loss of reputation.

An efficient compliance management system prevents employees’ misbehaviour and thus protects the company’s assets and reputation. I support my clients in

  • designing, implementing and improving compliance management systems
  • establishing whistleblower systems
  • investigating compliance violations and in subsequent agency investigations
  • enforcing civil damages claims resulting from compliance violations

Having worked as a corporate compliance officer for several years, I offer my clients first-hand experience in dealing with the above topics.
